Well, our 19th Annual tournament is ‘in the books’ as they say and, like every year, it was indeed a memorable one – in a number of ways. 😊 Osprey Links was again our host and as always, they treated us amazingly well. What didn’t treat us that way was the weather!! Freezing cold, rain, wind, and at one point we saw snowflakes. BUT – did that deter the full complement of golfers and the Warrior volunteers??? NOT A CHANCE!!
We cannot thank our golfers enough who stuck with us for the day and supported the team through their attendance, by buying 50/50 tickets, Mulligans, tickets for our draws and the silent auction. There were many familiar faces in the crowd and some new faces too; we were thrilled to see all of you and are incredibly grateful for your support.
Thanks as well to the donors of our silent auction items and to Wood’s Welding and Manufacturing for the beautiful fire ring they made and donated for our raffle.
The Golf Committee would also like to give a big thank you to Jeff and his whole team at Osprey Links. We also want to thank all our hole sponsors whose signs you saw around the greens.
